the juice:
During Amanda Grove's Inertia 30 project (30 30-minute performances in 30 days), two films were shot in 30 minutes. In this case, the live performance was composed of slow reverse movements by Amanda, shot on video by Jason Hedrick near the Williamsburg Bridge in Brooklyn. The second performer is Jason DelGandio. A musical score was contributed by Craig Gingrich-Philbrook. The video performance consisted of reversing the film and speeding it up approximately 6 times its original rate. Rumor has it that a second tape of a 30-minute slow-movement performance exists.
